Drumsleed Meats

Calving 2024 is just away to get into full swing and another set of twins to keep us on our toes!!
A set of twin girls (twin girls should be a piece of cake right?! 🫣) one a lot livelier than the other but both healthy.

This weekend is the Stirling Bull Sales and in the pedigree world, this is like our harvest. We have 8 Simmentals heading down looking for new homes.
Mum and dad have 6 under the Drumsleed name and I have 2 of my own under my Boswell herd name. It is the first bulls I have had down in quite a number of years so hopefully they do well!!

Even though I will be short staffed at home, there is no need to worry about the beef quantities in our fridges and freezers. We have had a big delivery in this week. There are plenty of burgers, sausages, steaks, silversides, topsides, briskets, short ribs and much more.

I like to think it is very important to make sure that the produce I am stocking is of the highest quality so taste testing is vital!! 😋

In stock this week we have

We had a slightly interesting Valentine’s Night last night.
Instead of enjoying a steak and some wine, these little guys had other ideas!! Both calves and mum are doing well!
These two are commercial calves so don’t need names however as the year letter for our pedigree cattle is ‘R’ I thought it was fitting that we call them Romeo and Rose!
