I was meant to let you all know that there were strawberries on the shelves again yesterday. (But ended up really busy making burgers!!)

We also had blackberries this week too but I’ve gone in this afternoon and no blackberries left and only a few punnets of strawberries left.

I will get more this week for those that are missing out. 🍓

What a day it’s been!!!!

I was up early to feed and check out cattle and then spent the day working in our burger van that I share with my closest friends, Phil and Sam.

This has been such an adventure and we never thought we would be at the stage where we attended two events in one day.

It was a challenge mentally and physically but we have made it to the end of the day and I’ve finally sat down with a cider.

A massive thanks to Drumtochty Highland Games and Westerton Farm for having us at both of their events.

We are currently at the Big Farm Sleepover at Westerton and it’s great seeing all the kids running around and having a blast.

Thank you to everyone who came along to both events and supported our family business. It is greatly appreciated.

We now look forward to our next event which is Fettercairn Show where we will be showing our cattle as well as cooking off more of our popular burgers. 🍔Having a fab day at Drumtochty Highland Games today! ☀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥁🏃🏼‍♂️ thank you to everyone who bought from us today 🍔🍟🫶🏼 lovely to see so many happy customers! 🩶

You guys are doing ace! 🍔 x

Well done Drumsleed. The burgers continue to be the best at these outdoor events. Freshest of ingredients make for a tasty burger.

The best burgers!! Sorry the onions made you cry 😂😂... see you again soon x

🥧PIES ARE BACK!!🥧

Thanks to Castleton Farm Castleton Farmse tasty treats (are they treats or just necessities?!)

We were at the 2025 North East Scottish Food and Drink awards at the start of the month and we watched Castleton pick up two awards which was an amazing achievement. Well done to the team!!

We have our three favourites back on the shelves-

🥧steak pies
🥧 mince pies
🥧 brisket pies

Our shop will be open all weekend and we will also be attending The Drumtochty Games with our Burger Van. Come along and see us and say hi!!

Just had one for lunch, very yummy

Do you know where your food has come from??

The beef we have in our shop right now was reared right in front of my house. I know what shed it was in over the winter too. I also know what it was fed on.

We make sure that we choose fit and healthy cattle to make sure you (and me of course!) get the finest and tastiest cuts of beef possible.

This BBQ minute steak was my last meal choice. Super quick to make and super delicious but knowing that our cattle are running about happy and healthy is the best.

Royal Highland Show update…….

On Thursday I made my way down for the show and we had an amazing day!!

In the Simmental classes, Drumsleed Poppy was 1st in her class and Drumsleed Rocco was 1st and Reserve Junior Male Champion! 😍

We also had our Shorthorn heifer and this was our first time showing shorthorns at the highland show. And delighted to say Drumsleed Vogue was 3rd in her class.

Well done to all the exhibitors and especially to Reece Simmers at Backmuir for winning the Overall Simmental Champion and to the Greens at Corskie who did exceptionally well too.
