On Tuesday we took this wee girl out to visit the nursery that our twin daughters go to.

The kids were all amazing and gentle with the lamb and the chicks that we took along. They all seemed really interested and asked lots of questions.

We gave the kids a chance to name the lamb and the name Sarah was chosen. Sarah is the name of one of the wonderful carers that work in this nursery and has gone off on maternity leave so we have been informed this was for her.

I love this time of year when you see the crops growing.

It is always a worry when you are planting the seeds as by the time it is through the ground it’s too late to do much with.

Most of it looks good this year after the mess I made of my winter crops but I’ve still managed to have quite a few acres of strips (3rd picture) which is extremely frustrating.

The seed drill is now off and getting a proper check over as the conditions were absolutely perfect this year so there should be no excuses! ... See MoreSee Less
