Our fridges and freezers are filled with loads of amazing beef cuts from our own Simmental cattle.

☀️ Weather is looking gorgeous all weekend so if you need a burger or two then we have plenty

🍔 If you fancy a cooked burger then Drumsleed Burger Co. will be at Fettercairn Gala serving some treats.

Day 11 of Scottish Agritourism Month

It’s WORLD AGRITOURISM DAY, what better way to celebrate than have the wonderful Caroline Millar do a wee talk.

And of course Scotland will host the World Agritourism Conference next year!! #scottishagritourismmonth

Good morning everyone!! I hope everyone is enjoying this weather?! As a farmer, we are never happy and I’m not going to sit here and ask for 🌧️ but it is gorgeous and a pleasure to be outside. One of the great perks of working in the outdoors!! ☀️

So day 10 of Scottish Agritourism Month,

We try and add in a new product from time to time to give you something different to try. We generally get a carcass cut up in a standard form every week which includes burgers, sausages, your usual steaks, and usual roasts. We have been trying out flavoured burgers and sausages and also lately been doing BBQ ribs which have been going down really well.

Another new thing we have done (well for nearly a year now!) has been the burger van. My pals and I started up the Drumsleed Burger Co. to show case our delicious burgers. We use our own beef in the van so there is no comprising of quality. But we need to mention and thank Louise's Farm Kitchen for keeping me stocked with beef. She does all my butchery and makes any new products I ask for.

We have a few more ideas in the pipeline so keep an eye out for more treats.

☀️Day 9 of Scottish Agritourism Month ☀️

Our customers ultimately are what keeps our small business going. We have the best customers who are very loyal and supportive of what we are doing.

I get a bit of excitement every time I see a car come to the shop or if I get a notification from a payment come in. It doesn’t matter if it’s £1 or £100, every little bit helps this family business.

But seeing these customers returning is such a nice feeling as they are hopefully liking what we are producing.

Even if they can’t support the shop physically, interaction on social media plays another massive part. Liking posts, sharing posts and commenting on them helps widen the audience which can in turn lead to a new customer.

So thank you to all my wonderful customers and friends and followers who interact on social media, you are amazing!! 😊

Happy COO’s day!!

Day 8 of Scottish Agritourism Month

We have made countless friends on our journey. This has been from suppliers to customers. Many of my suppliers are members of the Agritourism network and I love working with other local businesses too.

Many of our customers have become friends and although we run an honesty shop we do try and greet people if we can. We have even had some people come out and help us on various tasks which has been amazing!!

The Scottish Agritourism group are an extremely friendly bunch and nothing is ever a problem no matter how silly it may seem.
