HELLO! And welcome to all our new followers.
We are currently continuing to work away at clearing our freezers a little before our next delivery of fresh beef in a couple of weeks and my goodness it’s been manic.
For those of you that are new here, we are a family run farm based between Auchenblae and Fordoun. We are a mixed farm of both arable and cattle and our aim is simple: to raise cattle with high welfare standards, look after our land and provide high-quality beef from our family to yours.
We really appreciate your interest in local, sustainable beef and in supporting farming close to home.
We still have a few of these deals in the freezer at Drumsleed ready to go but onto our last few, which is incredible!
The shop is open 7am - 9pm, every day, here at Drumsleed, Fordoun, AB30 1SL.
Even if you don’t need any beef at the moment (because surely the only place you buy yours from is from me…), I would really appreciate it if you could share this post to try and increase our visibility, it’s how the algorithm works!

Another morning and another set of problems!!!
Someone asked me the other day why we start at 4.30am-5am and this is probably a good example why. A blow out on our feed waggon tyre, thankfully all the cattle were just fed before it happened and then a burst oil pipe on our loader. Nothing too serious but if this didn’t happen until later on in the day would we get it sorted?? Possibly…….. but then I would miss picking up the twins from nursery. And I also managed to get the girls to nursery in time too so win win all round!!

I hope everyone who got one of our beef boxes this week is enjoying their goodies?! I was blown away by the number of you that got in touch, it was incredible so thank you so much!
Not sure if it was the deal itself or that we could deliver that proved so popular, probably both, but it’s given us a real spring in our step that so many of you are keen to feed your families our home reared beef from our farm.
We’re hoping to make this a regular feature (so watch this space!!) and meantime we have some bags in the freezer made up for you to collect from the shop.
