2026 sowing is go-go-go!
It feels incredibly weird not doing it myself this year and posting pictures of my own tractor and drill but time waits for no one.
The biggest thank you to Darren for helping us out, it’s a relief to know the job is being done by someone we trust.
The only perk.. if there’s any bald patches, it’s not down to me! 🙊

🎈It’s the 6th birthday of Drumsleed Meats.🎈
🥩 While we have made changes along the way, we still strive to provide the highest quality Simmental beef. The majority of our beef has been born and bred at the same farm that we sell directly to you, the customers, keeping our food miles to an absolute minimum. 🥩
👀 Over the next year we have an exciting few projects coming your way and of course our latest venture, Drumsleed Burger Co. will be back on its travels bringing our finest burgers to a place near you (hopefully!) 🍔
🐮 Of course it wouldn’t be a birthday without a birth or two 🐑 🐑

***Copied from Fettercairn Show Facebook Page. Mathew loved his wee showing stint and is desperate to have a go again at the 190th Fettercairn Show. So to answer the question- yes Mathew will be back to have another shot at the young handlers! ****
Fettercairn Show
As the sun sets on a glorious sunny weekend we’d just like to mention our other cattle sections…
The Cross cattle section champions purpose bred beasts - often cross bred between continental and native breeds to get the best characteristics of both. 🙌🇫🇷🏴🇧🇪🐂🙌
Then of course the young handler sections where the next generation get the chance to strut their stuff 👨🌾🐮
Re sharing a fabulous video from last year where young Mathew got stuck in leading shorthorn heifer Drumsleed Vogue at the 189th Fettercairn Show. I wonder if he’ll be back this year 🤔🤞

This was made by a young and enthusiastic 15year old. He is in love with our beef but especially the steaks and no one else in the house gets to cook them 😂 This lovely looking dish was made with our steaks and sauce (the peppercorn sauce is in the freezer) and the veg from Westerton Farm.
I think this young lad has fantastic taste! ❤️
