The Cross cattle section champions purpose bred beasts - often cross bred between continental and native breeds to get the best characteristics of both. ๐๐ซ๐ท๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐ง๐ช๐๐
Then of course the young handler sections where the next generation get the chance to strut their stuff ๐จโ๐พ๐ฎ
Re sharing a fabulous video from last year where young Mathew got stuck in leading shorthorn heifer Drumsleed Vogue at the 189th Fettercairn Show. I wonder if heโll be back this year ๐ค๐ค

This was made by a young and enthusiastic 15year old. He is in love with our beef but especially the steaks and no one else in the house gets to cook them ๐ This lovely looking dish was made with our steaks and sauce (the peppercorn sauce is in the freezer) and the veg from Westerton Farm.
I think this young lad has fantastic taste! โค๏ธ

Our shop is open until 9pm tonight (Saturday) and from 7am to 9pm tomorrow.
This is the perfect opportunity to purchase quality butcher meat on days that your local butcher isnโt open.
The beef in our fridge is all from one carcass that was born and reared at Drumsleed.

๐For anyone wanting to see our wee lambs, here is a short video of where to find them. ๐
We will not be running farm tours this season as I am still off work and it would be unfair to ask the bosses to do the tours while they are a body short.
Please feel free to go and see them but please be mindful of vehicles going about when heading over to the shed and please donโt go in beside them.
